When transporting people and supplies throughout the mine, safety is of prime importance. You also need a high payload while keeping maintenance costs low. Most mine utility vehicles today are expensive to operate, costing you more time and money than your budget allows. Breaker Technology’s Mine Runner is a purpose-built utility vehicle engineered to withstand the rugged underground mining environment while offering a 6,000-pound payload and a patented hydraulic-wheel drive system to give you the highest level of efficiency, minimizing maintenance costs. LOWER YOUR MAINTENANCE COSTS
Better brakes mean less maintenance costs. Service braking is accomplished using the hydraulic pump and wheel motors, meaning there’s no mechanical wear parts to fail or replace. The Mine Runner’s primary and secondary braking systems are designed and tested to meet and exceed the CSA braking standard and performance for underground mining machines.
INTUITIVE DRIVING AND HANDLING
Using both accelerator and brake pedals for tram and braking control, our patented Advanced Breaking and Tramming (ABT) system is smooth and seamless with an automotive feel. With automatic or manual shifting and traction control, there are no underground conditions that are too tough to tame.
TRANSPORT PERSONNEL SAFELY & COMFORTABLY
Breaker Technology has put several safety features in place to ensure you can transport everyone safely while keeping emissions low. The Mine Runner offers a spacious and ergonomic three-person ROPS/FOPS forward cabin with excellent visibility for the driver. The eight-person cabin on the standard model or 12-person cabin on the Extended Wheel Base transports personnel through the mine safely and comfortably.
OPTIMIZED POWER DELIVERY PUTS POWER WHERE YOU NEED IT MOST— ON THE GRADE
The HWD power train provides optimized power delivery to each wheel independently, with up to 40% more overall efficiency over conventional transmission systems. This ensures the diesel engine is running within its optimal power band delivering higher levels of performance.
